Call or text Premier Paws (Jordan) 07946 244372 to book.
Initial session can take up to 45 minutes.
Your dog will be left with me for the session, and a text will be sent 10-15 minutes before session ends to advise on collection time.
Most dogs are quite receptive to the process, providing they are ok with having their mouth area touched and gums lifted.
There is no pain, no sedation or noise involved.
An ultrasonic toothbrush works by using high-frequency vibrations, typically around 20,000 to 40,000 cycles per minute, to remove plaque and bacteria from the teeth and gums. These vibrations create tiny bubbles in the toothpaste or water, which help to effectively clean hard-to-reach areas.
The vibrations also help to kill bacteria and promote healthier gums and teeth.
Premier Paws would like to clarify that ultrasonic treatment is not a veterinary procedure and cannot be used to diagnose any dental problems with your dog. It is solely intended to maintain healthy teeth and gums, and does not replace the need for regular veterinary check-ups.
Please note that Premier Paws cannot guarantee the effectiveness or suitability of ultrasonic treatment for individual dogs, as external factors can vary. Premier Paws cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from poor dentition, If your dog's teeth are significantly scaled, we strongly recommend that you first seek veterinary attention for a dental descale under anaesthetic, and then continue with a regular program of ultrasonic teeth cleaning to maintain your dog's oral health.
I understand that should any of the following occur, the session will need to be stopped and full charge may still apply.
-Loose teeth suspected
-If the dog objects and becomes stressed or aggressive.
-Any obvious abnormalities suspected, such as embedded foreign bodies, injuries or tumours for example.
I understand that there may be minor reddening or minor signs of blood on gumline during/after teeth cleaning.
